FINISHED!

Look at Jesus’ work on the cross. He cried out, “It is finished!” You cannot complete a completed work. You cannot finish a finished work. Our salvation is won. Our sins are all forgiven. We are made forever righteous by His blood. Christ paid completely and perfectly for our total forgiveness, righteousness and every blessing!

When Jesus gave Himself on the cross, He met fully the righteous demands of the law. He paid our debts in full!

Christian living is not about doing, but believing in His finished work. Under the law, we must do. Under grace, it is done!

Maybe you are faced with overwhelming odds today. Jesus promises, “It is finished!” You are not going to be delivered because you have already been delivered. You are not going to be healed because you are already the healed! God healed you 2,000 years ago! Isaiah 53:5 declares, “By His stripes you are healed!” You are already pregnant with healing. Keep resting in His finished work and it will manifest!

The work is finished. The victory is won. Our blessings have been bought by His blood! Live life knowing that there is nothing for you to do—only believe! It is finished!

 John 19:30
So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.

Make them supernaturally blessed.....

God wants to take the natural things in your life and make them supernaturally blessed. He does this by asking you to give Him what you already have in the natural, and He will do the supernatural.

How do you deal with the “snake” that is in all the natural things in your life?

First, cast it to the Lord. Then, do what the Lord told Moses next: “Reach out your hand and take it by the tail”. (Exodus 4:4)

Now, it could be fatal to take a snake by its tail because it can easily turn its head around and bite you. So why did God say that?

When you take it by the tail, God will take the head! He wants you to let Him handle the head, and not grab it or hold on to it tightly in fear or self-effort. That is how you see your career, strength, talents and ministry supernaturally blessed.

There is a snake, a touch of the curse, in everything in the natural. But give what is natural to the Lord and see the touch of the curse replaced with the supernatural touch of God!

Exodus 4:2–3
So the Lord said to him, “What is that in your hand?” He said, “A rod.” And He said, “Cast it on the ground.” So he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from it.

We have the dominion...

Because God’s purpose for you is to have dominion on earth, He will keep you healthy. After all, it is hard to rule the earth when you are sick and lying on your bed. And God will prosper you because it is hard to want to do things when you are in lack.

We need to understand that since God’s greater purpose is for man to have dominion on earth, it would include the lesser blessings such as health and provision. Then, we will see ourselves as God sees us, walking in dominion, and we will walk in victory over our negative circumstances in the natural realm.

You have been born again of the Spirit, born to rule and have dominion over everything on earth!

Genesis 1:26
Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

The power of the name of Jesus.

If anything is troubling you, if it has a name, it must bow to the name of Jesus! Poverty must bow. Shame must bow. Cancer must bow to the name of Jesus. The Bible tells us that God has highly exalted Jesus and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee must bow!

Philippians 2:10
…at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth...

The Lord does not see as man sees....

God does not see as man sees. God saw in fearful Gideon a mighty man of valor and called him so even when he was hiding from his enemies in fear. (Judges 6:12) God saw in young David a king and anointed him as one. (1 Samuel 16:10–13) God saw in meek Moses a deliverer and drew him out from obscurity. (Exodus 3)

Today, God looks beyond what man sees and says about you, and He has dreams for you that are bigger than you can imagine!

1 Samuel 16:7
…For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

Monday, December 26, 2016

When you are resting in God, He works for you.

When we rest in the Lord, He will not rest. He will work on our behalf. What do we do then? We just trust in and enjoy His love for us.

Beloved, stop striving and be at rest. If salvation, the greatest work, comes to us by resting in Jesus’ finished work, how much more will all the other blessings?

Ruth 3:18
Then she said, “Sit still, my daughter, until you know how the matter will turn out; for the man will not rest until he has concluded the matter this day.”

God does not want you to believe that if you don’t do anything, nothing will happen. That may be true for someone without God in his life, but it is not true for you because you have God. And when He is in the picture, the God-factor changes everything!

Born to die.

Jesus was the only child in all of humanity born to die. Once you realize that, you will realize how much God loves you. You will realize that He gave up His Son for that one purpose, and that His Son willingly came for that one purpose—to die for your sins and mine.

Beloved, can you imagine living your life knowing that you are just qualifying yourself to die on the cross to save the world? That was the life that Jesus lived. He lived to die, so that we might live and enjoy life abundantly today!

Luke 2:12
And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.”

Saturday, December 24, 2016

If all is silent and dark in your life now...

...and you feel like you have been left out in the cold, just know that Jesus came to be your Savior at such a time as this.

He was not born in the comfort of a warm, cozy room, but in a cold manger. There was no room for Him in the inn (Luke 2:7), so that there will always be room at the cross for your healing, deliverance, wholeness and provision, and a mansion in heaven waiting for you!

It was not a judge or lawgiver who was born. It was a mighty Savior. He came to save His people. He came to save you and me. So even if you are in a cold, dark period of your life, don’t be afraid—the Savior has come and He will save you to the uttermost!

Luke 2:10–11
Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

Be conscious of God’s constant good opinion of you.

But when Jesus Christ was born, the glory of God came down. (Luke 2:9)

The glory of God which man forfeited has now been restored to him because Jesus has come.

In restoring to us His glory, God wants us to have the sense that we are praiseworthy, honorable and glorious because of His constant good opinion of us!

Because God’s glory is on you, you can expect it to touch every aspect of your life—your finances, relationships, work and health. Your body, for example, will glow with divine health.

So, because Jesus has come and restored the glory of God to you, be conscious of God’s constant good opinion of you. Know that there is a weightiness about you and arise, shine!

Thursday, December 22, 2016

Ask and you shall receive. Seek and you shall find.

The moment you are born again, you have Jesus in your life. So get ready for His abundant supply to come your way! But don’t look for the blessings, look to Jesus—He is the power to get wealth. (Deuteronomy 8:18

The presence of the Son of the living God in your life attracts good things. Because of His grace toward us, Jesus, though He was rich, was made poor at the cross for your sake so that “you through His poverty might become rich”.

When you have Jesus in your life and when you know that He has paid the price for your abundance, you can boldly declare, “Jesus was made poor at the cross for my sake so that through His poverty, I am made rich in all things!”

2 Corinthians 8:9
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.

GOD’S UNSHAKABLE WORD

God does not want you to feel helpless because you are not of the world. (John 17:16) You are of God and therefore need not be subject to the world’s systems. Whatever the world’s situation is, fear not because “God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus”.

Philippians 4:19 says that “God shall supply all your need”. It does not say that God may supply some of your needs. It also says that God will do it “according to His riches”. It is not out of His riches. If a millionaire gives you a hundred dollars, it is out of his riches. But if he gives to you according to his riches, it means that he is lining up his millions for you!

God does it “according to His riches in glory”.

Don’t look at your circumstances or the bad things that are happening in the world because you will get “earth-sick”. Instead, look at the unshakable, eternal Word of God. Your heart will become stable and you will see your God supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus!

Philippians 4:19
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Stepping into your place of abundance!

Your heavenly Father hears your cry for help and He will rescue you. The psalmist says that “we went through fire and through water; but You brought us out to rich fulfillment”. If you have been through the fire and water, then your next stop is a place of rich fulfillment or abundance!

Psalm 66:12
…we went through fire and through water; but You brought us out to rich fulfillment.

Do you feel as if the challenge you are facing is so big that you are going through fire. And you are so overwhelmed by everything that is happening around you that you feel as if you are drowning.

Your heavenly Father does not lie when He tells you that He will bring you out to rich fulfillment if you are going through a difficult time. Trust Him and you will find yourself stepping into your place of abundance!

3 Definitions of “What is faith?”

Hebrews 11:1,

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

The New International Version says, Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

1 Timothy 6:12,

Fight the good fight of [the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Fight the good fight of being sure of what you hope for and being convinced of what you do not see.]

I don’t care what the world says, I don’t care what circumstances say, I am going to fight the good fight of the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of what I do not see.”

And you stay with it until, as they say, “Faith turns to sight.”

YOUR SITUATION THROUGH GOD’S EYES...

Psalm 1:3
He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.

Yes, God wants you to see yourself the way He sees you—“like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper”. So see yourself like a tree planted by the rivers of water, bringing forth fruit in your season. See yourself as one who will not wither, whose health will not fail. See whatever you do prospering!

See the vision of the Almighty. That vision is always a good vision. Whenever you see your situation through God’s eyes, you will find that your situation will change because when you see as He sees, you allow Him to work as the Almighty in your life!

Jesus was not just a man sent from God, He was God.

John 1:1, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

Jesus was not just a man sent from God, He was God.

Christ's humanity truly made Him one of us. He suffered the same temptations and pressures that we suffer (Heb. 4:15). It was His divinity, however, that gave Him the power to save us to the max (Heb. 7:25). We must never let His humanity blind us to the fact that Almighty God Himself became our friend (Jn. 15:13-15). And we must never let His divinity blind us to the fact that He knows exactly how we feel and cares for us.

If you want to know what the Father’s will,...

...mind, heart or attitude toward you and your family is, just look at Jesus in the Gospel stories.

Do not say, “We can never know God’s will. Sometimes He heals, sometimes He doesn’t. He may bless us, but He may also take away our blessings.” The Jesus of the Bible never made anyone sick. He never made anyone poor. He made the little become much with 12 baskets full of leftovers. (Matthew 14:20) He gave a net-breaking, boat-sinking load of fish to fishermen. (Luke 5:6–7)

If your child is sick, is it God’s will to heal him? Well, look at Jesus and see how He ministered to children who were sick—the Syro-Phoenician’s daughter who was demon-possessed, Jairus’ daughter who was dead and the widow of Nain’s only son who had died and was about to be buried. Jesus cast out the demon. He raised the dead. He healed them all!

Jesus loves to heal, deliver, prosper and save people. This Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8) And He says to you today, “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.” So you can know God’s will for you. You can see what He will do for you when you know the Jesus of the Bible and what He did.

HAVE A MORE FRUITFUL PRAYER LIFE

How? One prerequisite is that we abide in Jesus. Look at how many times Jesus uses this word in John 15:1-7

“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vine dresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.”

Abide could be translated as “to maintain a living communion.” So, “If you maintain a living communion with Me, then you will ask what you desire, and it will be done for you.”

We need to stay in fellowship with God if we want to see Him answer our prayers.

Throughout your day, look and listen for God. Acknowledge Him throughout your day. Read your Bible. Talk to Him. Be expressive in your gratitude for Him. And don’t neglect going to His house.

Jesus said, “Abide in Me, abide in Me, abide in Me, abide in Me. Maintain this living communion. Let Me pour into you. Then if you abide in Me and My words abide in you, ask what you desire, and it will be done.”

So abiding with God is a prerequisite to having a more fruitful prayer life!

God with us

God has promised you His constant presence (Hebrews 13:5).

Are you conscious of His presence every day? If so, you will experience a peace that gives you rest, joy inexpressible in your spirit and a power that nothing in this world can offer.

You will begin to be peaceful and powerful like Jesus because you cannot be in God’s presence without His beauty, love, peace, power and glory rubbing off on you.

See God with you in whatever you do and wherever you are.

When you become conscious of God’s presence in your life, worries and fears will have no foothold in your mind. You will see Him maximizing your joy and fun, and prospering you in what you say and do!

1 Corinthians 14:4 He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself…

This says that the speaker “edifies himself”. This means his entire self—spirit, soul and body. So he who speaks in tongues builds up not just his spirit, but his soul and body as well.

God’s Spirit in you knows exactly what you need and will rest and recharge you—spirit, soul and body—as you yield to Him

Exercise the Muscle of Faith

Faith is a muscle that you have to use. It is not enough just to listen to your Bible teaching CDs all day long. Hearing alone is not enough to develop faith. You must use your faith muscle.

You exercise your faith when you are standing in the midst of your storm, and you are assailed by temptations and every kind of trial that tells you you’re not going to make it, that you are going down with the ship.

Trust God to do just as He has promised.

1 Timothy 6:12

God gave man authority to have dominion over everything on earth....

The authority which has been restored to us is not just the authority on earth which man had before the fall, but Jesus’ unquestionable and complete authority in heaven and on earth!

Matthew 28:18–19
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore…

By His death on the cross, Jesus righteously restored all that man had lost. Let's use that authority today!

When God looks at us...

...he sees what we can become by His grace.

God did not tell us to call those things which exist as they exist.

What is the point of stating the obvious? It is not going to change anything. No,

God tells us to call those things which do not exist as though they did, and they will!

Romans 4:17
…God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;

The Word is the very breath of God.....

Matthew 4:4
But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’”

When you read the Bible or listen to God’s Word preached, you are imbibing the very breath of God which gives you life.

Proverbs 4:22 tells us that God’s words are “life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh”.

Jesus wants us to know that we need God’s Word even more than our daily meals. He made us, so He knows best what our bodies need daily.

Remember to get your daily feeding of God’s Word.

Because you have been born again, all things in your life will work together for good..

Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

This is our inheritance as God’s beloved children.

When bad things happen to the children of God, it does not end there. God can make those bad things work together for good. In other words, the devil may throw lemons at you, but God can take those lemons and make refreshing lemonade for you!

God wants you to live a good life filled with good days!

It is His good plan for you to live in health, provision, increase, favor, peace, and joy—these are all yours in Christ Jesus!

It is important that you learn to speak in alignment with God’s promises.
Simply stated:
The words you speak have a direct effect on the life you are going to live!

Faith reaches over into the spiritual realm...

....and brings into physical manifestation the blessings that are there. Whatever comes from the spirit trumps anything going on in the natural. The spirit is the parent force. But unless you know what you have in the spirit, you can't receive it. It all starts with first understanding that you've already got it!

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.

Ephesians 1:3

BLESSED WITH THE EXCELLENCE AND PLENTY

Deuteronomy 28:4
“Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.

“Your ground” is the place of your work. This means that “the produce” of your work shall be of excellent quality.

God promises that quantity will always follow quality because Deuteronomy 28:11 says that the Lord will “grant you plenty of goods.

Your excellence and plenty do not come by your efforts. They come by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, who paid for you to have divine provision—“though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich”. (2 Corinthians 8:9)

He became poor, so that you could be blessed with the excellent and the plenty!

Great rewards!

1 Timothy 6:6,
Now godliness with contentment is great gain.
Such an incredible truth. Godliness coupled with contentment is great gain. Not just gain, GREAT gain!

Over and over in Scripture, God highlights the importance and reward of godliness. For instance, it says in Psalm 4:3, That the Lord has set apart for Himself him who is godly. 2 Peter says the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations.

Those are great rewards!

Dong it God’s way....

Pray like this: “Father, I cast all my worries about .... into Your loving hands because You care for me and love me.”

The Bible tells us to cast all our cares upon the Lord for He cares for us. (1 Peter 5:7)

Then, say, “Father, I would like to have the .....” It is okay to ask Him for that.

Now, here comes the most powerful part—thanksgiving. Finish off with thanksgiving. Thank God for His faithfulness.

Say something like, “Father, whether I get ... or not, I thank You that You will always provide for my family with more than enough. You who feed the birds of the air and clothe the lilies of the field will take care of us. So I am not going to worry about this ...... You are the source of all my blessings.” (Matthew 6:30, Philippians 4:19)

Expect God to rain His blessings on you!

There is nothing you can do about the rain but to let it fall. So just expect God to rain His blessings on you! Let them fall! And you will be blessed with more than enough, so that with your needs and your family’s needs more than met, you can be a blessing to others too!

Thursday, November 24, 2016

The more you thank God...

..., the more you please Him.

What little you have will be multiplied and whatever is dead in your life will be raised to life!

God doesn’t want you to be conscious of the lack in your natural circumstances

He doesn’t want you to live by how much you earn or how much you have in the bank. Now, I am not encouraging you to spend foolishly beyond your means. I am saying that God wants you to be conscious of the abundance of resources in His kingdom.

“But where is that kingdom?”

As long as you have received Jesus as your Savior, that kingdom is in you!

Jesus said that “the kingdom of God is within you”. This means that the kingdom of God is not some physical place. It is within you and it is where the abundance of resources is. So if you want to experience abundance in your life, be conscious first of the abundance inside you. Then, what is inside you will become a reality on the outside.

Beloved, God doesn’t want you to be conscious of the lack you see outside you. He wants you to be conscious of the abundance within you because His kingdom is within you!

You need to develop a glorious sense of confidence that says, “Hey, Devil, I’m going to be victorious and there’s not a thing you can do to stop me!”

Where is God?

Isaiah 41:10
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

Perhaps today, you are in the valley of marital, financial or bodily trouble, and you are asking, “Where is God?”

My friend, He is right there with you. The God of the valleys says to you, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”

Beloved, it is not the trials that make us strong, but our responses in those trials. The devil wants us to respond by asking, “Where is God?” But God wants us to respond with faith in His love for us. We are more than conquerors not because of our love for Him, but through Him who loves us. (Romans 8:37)

So whatever valley you are in today, don’t be afraid. God is there with you strengthening and upholding you. Just sing of His love for you and let Him fight your battles for you!
